4 Dishes to Serve in Celebration of The Feast Day of The Archangels

Today marks the feast day of the Archangels Gabriel, Michael, and Raphael. This day is also known as Feast of Saint Michael and All Angels or Michaelmas.

The liturgy celebrates the feast of the three archangels who are venerated in the tradition of the Church. In Christian angelology, St. Michael is the greatest of all the angels and is honored for defeating Lucifer in the war in heaven. Meanwhile, referred to as the Strength of God, St. Gabriel announced to Zechariah the forthcoming birth of John the Baptist and the birth of Jesus to Mary. Lastly, St. Raphael served as the Medicine of God who took care of Tobias in his journey.
