These K-Drama Queens Are Set For Their TV Drama Comebacks!

The quarantine has seemingly given birth to a vast number of K-dramas that have hooked not only hallyu (Korean wave) fans, but also those who just wanted to try out a new genre of series. These series have topped the charts on streaming platforms like Netflix, and have created a buzz on social media around the world.

While many have already ended, or have wrapped up a season, fans shouldn’t be sad because many dramas are still set to be released in the last four months of 2021! K-drama Queens: Song Hye Kyo

The Descendants of the Sun and Encounter star is set for a TV drama comeback in November. She will be starring in a series called “Now We Are Breaking Up”, which will also include Jang Ki-yong (My Roommate is a Gumiho), Kim Joo-hun (Dr. Romantic 2), Choi Hee-seo (The Asian Angel), and EXO’s Sehun!

Hye Kyo will be playing Ha Young Eun, a focused woman who loves her work that she avoids being too emotional with men. That all changes, however, once she meets Yoon Jae Guk (Ki-yong), a freelancer.

K-drama Queens: Kim Go Eun

Kim Go Eun, who famously portrayed Ji Eun-tak in the well-loved drama Goblin, will be starring in Yumi’s Cells. The 30-year-old actress will play Yumi, a woman who finds it hard to express her feelings, in this webtoon adaptation. The point of view will be of her braincells! Go Eun will star alongside Ahn Bo-hyun (Itaewon Class), SHINee’s Minho, and GOT7’s Jinyoung. It will be coming out in September on iQiYi.

K-drama Queens: Jo Yeo Jeong

Parasite’s Jo Yeo Jeong is set to star in “High Class”, which comes out in September. She will be playing lawyer Song Yeo Wool, who is framed for her husband’s death. Her life goes downhill after it. Other actors in the cast are Kim Ji Soo (Hwarang), Gong Hyun Joo (You Are My Destiny), and Kim Nam Hee (Mr. Sunshine).
