Here Are 5 Kpop Groups Performing At KCON:TACT Hi 5

Attention, hallyu fans! KCON:TACT is returning this month!

The first ever online Korean culture festival is back for its fifth edition this September 18. Enjoy performances and watch content from your favorite Korean idols from the comfort of your own home from September 18 to 26, live! Called KCON:TACT Hi 5, the festival is the online version of the major K-culture convention KCON, which used to be held regularly in the US. But even if it’s being held virtually again this time around because of the pandemic, KCON is still providing you top-tier performances from the biggest star in Kpop right now!

Here are some of the idols you should expect at the 9-day virtual convention!

KCON 2021: MAMAMOO

Four-piece girl group Mamamoo, composed of Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa, will be performing at the event, as announced by the official KCON Twitter. The group was part of the first lineup announced by KCON on August 18. The group will be performing on Friday, September 24, and will also have a meet and greet session with fans.

KCON 2021: Stray Kids

Boy group Stray Kids is set to perform on the KCON:TACT stage on Sunday, September 19. The eight-piece group will be performing on the same day as GHOST9, Dreamcatcher, Kwon Eun Bi, and Girls Planet 999. Members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. will also have a meet and greet session.

KCON 2021: Itzy

Expect to see JYP Entertainment girl group Itzy perform on the last day of the convention. On September 26, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna will take to the stage to perform their hearts out for Kpop fans around the world. KCON 2021: AB6IX

Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin, and Lee Dae-hwi of AB6IX will take center stage on the first day of KCON:TACT Hi 5 on September 18. The group, who debuted in 2019, will perform at the event as a four-piece after their leader, Lim Young-min’s departure in June 2020.

KCON 2021: BTOB

BTOB, who debuted in 2012 with seven members, will be performing on Saturday, September 25, as a six-piece group. This comes after Jung Il-hoon left the group in December last year. Despite his departure, BTOB will still perform their hits for all MELODYs (their fandom) attending the event.
