The Philippines’ Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has refuted online claims that she was battling cancer, firmly stating she never had the disease in the first place.

During a recent Q&A session on Instagram, Kris addressed a fan’s comment wishing her well after allegedly reading posts that she was “cancer-free.”
“I saw couple of posts on FB that you are now cancer free Ms. @krisaquino. So I am here to check hoping it's true! I’m still hoping & praying you’d recover from this! You’re still the Best & Queen of All Media. I will include you on my prayers. God is good,” the fan wrote.
Kris quickly denied the rumor, clarifying that while she had undergone a PET scan, it was not for cancer but to check the condition of her autoimmune diseases and her long-term COVID-damaged lungs.

“I have always been cancer free. I think my having another PET SCAN on the day before Mother’s Day was misunderstood. That was done to check the condition of my autoimmune & long term covid damaged lungs,” she wrote.
She humorously added:
“Medyo sumobra na kung pati cancer meron ako.”
The multi-awarded TV host and actress continues to battle multiple autoimmune conditions, which she has consistently shared with her fans over the years.
Following her Q&A, Kris expressed her gratitude towards supporters praying for her healing, saying:
“I believe we have a loving God who answers unselfish prayers- you have my heartfelt gratitude.”
As of now, Kris remains focused on her recovery journey with son Bimby, while fans continue to flood her page with prayers and well wishes for her complete healing.
